"Fashion is not about keeping up with trends,  it is about wearing what makes you feel good and look good."  She's the kind of girl who loves socializing and has a nitch for conducting international business.  "This is no hobby, Charlie says.  To be honest, I do this because I love it."

Going back to Charlie's early teenage years in high school, Charlie on the Spot was always the "different one" in the crowd.  She was the not-so-normal girl in class yet inspired all of her classmates with her different fashion sense.  Through a vibrant and fashion based conversation, Charlie would always take her friends to the mall after school to style them.  She was a walking style guide.  She would take what was in and put a twist on it.

"I always knew I wanted to do something in fashion.  I just didn't know what it was back then."  She continued to peruse her passion for fashion taking on a fashion program in merchandising apparel design.  It wasn't until the late afternoon on August 1st, when Charlie on the Spot would talk with her make up artist as she headed to the summers all white event.  Through a heartfelt conversation, with many years of Charlie's makeup artist recognizing Charlie's fashion sense and style, she recommended Charlie starting a blog.  Charlie did not take the idea serious at first.  It was only until the idea would linger in her head for the next on-going week would Charlie believe her makeup artist may have right.

She would later sit down and reminisce on her passion for fashion, remembering always being the one to style friends, perusing an education in apparel design, and coordinating fashion shows and events.  She had an epiphany and it all made sense.

She jumped on the computer and got to work.  She pulled out what she had in her closet and began styling it for a photo shoot.  "I was just experimenting" she says.  She would then scroll through her contacts and inquire with a few photographers she knew over the years.  "They were all over priced", she says. So she took pictures with her phone.  In a get-it-done attitude working with high energy Charlie on the Spot was now on to something.  Through word of mouth promotion, she was soon invited to an event to promote her all-new fashion blog.  Coming prepared with tablets, cards, and of course her natural keen to fashion, Charlie on the Spot had done better than she thought.

Charlie now dedicates herself to her very own Charlie on the Spot fashion blog sincerely dedicated and targeted to all women including plus-size women from all socio-economic backgrounds.  She is here to show the world that when women come together they can break the barriers the media had put on them for years.  She is here to show the world, that when you love yourself the way you are and not rely on what the media promotes you can then succeed.
